Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is in the midst of dramatic and rapid evolution – from a commodity and transaction-based focus to one centered on insights and business outcomes.
REaD Foundation is partnering with Drishtee to provide Computer – BPO training program in Tiwaripur. Over 1377 hours will be provided in class room that includes 655 hours of on job training. The program is geared toward providing employment opportunities to local people at the nearby by BPO offices.
Issues, Problem, Challenges
Nearly two-thirds of India population live in rural areas, where farming is the main profession and most of them are unable to earn enough money from agriculture. With jobs opportunities scarce, the impact is greater in rural communities with a large proportion of jobs centered in big cities. Large scale job creation is possible when more factories are created in rural areas, and for that we need to prepare a skilled workforce. REaD is partnering with Drishtee to provide Computer training for BPO services.
How the program will solve this problem?
Training participants will attend a 6 month, over 90 hours of Computer training geared toward BPO training, where they will develop their skills in ICT & Data Management, Communication skill and Personal Development, Customer Management, on Job training and upon graduation will land a job in on of the BPO centers near their villages.
